Hey, I'm Ella
I’m a wedding and family photographer based in the Perth Hills, where I live with my husband, Chris, our beautiful boy, Archie and our wee girl on the way! I grew up in Denmark, WA, before moving to the big city for high school, but country and natural settings will always have my heart. That love shows up in my work too - I shoot with natural light and in locations that feel true to the families I’m capturing memories for.
I love being a photographer
I put my whole soul into this work because I know how much photos matter. Each session I do is incredibly special to me because I feel the same way you do - that these moments are fleeting, and holding onto them is priceless. Every session is special to me, and every photo is created with the hope it becomes a memory you’ll treasure for years to come.
I’m caring, relaxed, and kids tend to warm to me quickly. Having my own children, plus a niece and twin nephews, has taught me what makes little ones tick. We’ll play games, run around, laugh a lot and you’ll get photos that feel natural and fun.

Before photography took over my life, it was music. I used to be a singer, crazy!! I studied music at TAFE and started out photographing other bands at live gigs. Somewhere along the way, the camera became my real love, and I’ve now been photographing professionally for 10 years - I couldn't see myself doing anything else!
